Trendy Candy began on the Venice Beach boardwalk with a simple observation: the snacks people were seeing online were almost impossible to actually buy. We started importing them — a few cases at a time — and the store became a destination almost immediately.

We source food trends and hard-to-find treats from markets including Korea, Japan, China, Thailand, Sweden, the United Kingdom and beyond, so a single visit feels like a trip around the world.
Our buying team watches what's trending in real time. If a snack breaks out on TikTok or Instagram, our goal is to have it on the shelf while people are still talking about it.
